2.349 Attribute userPrincipalName
This attribute specifies the user principal name (UPN) that is an Internet-style logon name for a user, as specified in the Internet standard [RFC822]. The UPN is shorter than the distinguished name and easier to remember. By convention, the UPN maps to the user email name. For more information about this attribute, see [MS-ADTS].
