No. Series Field, Insurance Journal Template Table
Specifies the code for the number series that will be used to assign document numbers to journal lines in this insurance journal template. To see the number series that have been set up in the No. Series table, click the field.
The number series you enter on the template will be copied to journal batches that are created under the template. You can, however, change the number series on the batches.
If there is also a number series in the Posting No. Series field, then the number series in the No. Series field will only be used to assign a temporary number. The temporary number will be replaced upon posting.
