Overhead Rate Field, Item Journal Line Table
Specifies the item’s indirect cost as an absolute amount. The amount is added to the item’s unit cost to reflect indirect cost or overhead, such as freight and warehouse handling that are associated with the purchase of the item.
Additional Information
The value of the Overhead Rate field on the item card is copied to item journal lines and is used to calculate the value in the Unit Cost field on the item journal line.
Note
The Overhead Rate field is related to the Indirect Cost % field where it defines the overhead as a percentage of the value in the Unit Amount field on the item journal line.
