Response Time (Hours) Field, Service Contract Line Table
Contains the response time for the service item belonging to the service contract. The response time here is the estimated number of hours from creation of the service order with this service item to the time when service on this service item should start. The service is considered to have been started when the repair status of the service item line with this service item changes from Initial to In Process.
The program automatically fills in this field when you add a new service contract line to the service contract. The program copies the value from the Response Time (Hours) field in the Service Item table for the corresponding service item if this field is not blank and if the value in the field is less than that in the Response Time (Hours) field in the Service Contract Header table. Otherwise, the program fills in this field by copying the value from the Response Time (Hours) field in the Service Contract Header table.
