Location Code Field, Posted Assembly Line Table
Specifies from which location the assembly component was consumed on this posted assembly order line. The value is copied from the Location Code field on the assembly order line during posting.
Additional Information
If the location uses bins to control the flow of items to the assembly department, then you can set up the location with a default bin structure to manage this flow. For more information, see the To-Assembly Bin Code field on the location card.
The location code on the assembly order lines specifies where assembly components are placed, and the Location Code field on the assembly order header specifies where the assembled item output is placed.
