Symptom Code Table

Specifies codes that identify the symptoms of service item faults. For example, no function, level, quality, noise, and so on.

In combination with fault area codes, symptom codes are assigned to different fault codes. A combination of these three codes form the basis of fault reporting in the Service Management application area.

You specify whether you want to use symptom codes by setting the fault reporting level in the Service Mgt. Setup window.

When you have set up symptom codes, you can assign them to service items in the Service Item Worksheet window.
