Put-away Unit of Measure Code Field, Item Table
Contains the code of the item unit of measure in which the program will put the item away.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV always refers to the put-away unit of measure code when it suggests where to put items away in the warehouse. First Microsoft Dynamics NAV looks for a put-away unit of measure for the stockkeeping unit. If the field is empty or if Microsoft Dynamics NAV is putting away an item and not a stockkeeping unit, the program uses the item put-away unit of measure. If there is no item put-away unit of measure, the Microsoft Dynamics NAV uses the put-away unit of measure of the posted warehouse receipt line or the registered internal put-away line.
For example, when you receive pallets and the put-away unit of measure is pieces, the Take line of the put-away will be in pallets and the Place line will be pieces.
