Code Field, Shipping Agent Table

Specifies a shipping agent code. You can enter a maximum of 10 characters, both numbers and letters.

For each shipping agent, you set up a code and some related information. Then you enter the code in the Shipping Agent Code field on a customer card or a ship-to address card. From there, it will be copied to orders created for the customer or address. You can also enter the shipping agent code directly on an individual sales header, shipment or invoice. If you enter an Internet address for the shipping agent, you can use this information when you want to track a package that you have sent with this agent.

Use codes that are easy to remember and descriptive, such as:

DHL, TNT, FEDEX, UPS

The code must be unique - you cannot have the same code twice in one table. You can set up as many codes as you like.
