Transaction No. Field, Bank Account Ledger Entry Table

Shows the transaction number assigned to all ledger entries corresponding to that transaction. If there are general ledger entries, or entries for customers or vendors associated with the bank ledger entry, the same transaction number is assigned to them.

The number makes it possible to relate all of the ledger entries created in the same posting.

You cannot change this number because the entry has already been posted.
