クライアントの互換性は、次の 2 種類に分類できます。
- 複数のプレゼンス ポイント (MPOP)。1 人のユーザーが、複数のクライアントを使用して Office Communications Server 2007 R2 サーバーにサインインできる機能です。
- 相互運用性。異なる種類のクライアント、または以前のバージョンのクライアントを使用してサインインしている他のユーザーと対話できる機能です。
ここでは、Office Communicator 2007 R2 と、さまざまなバージョンの Microsoft Office、Exchange Server、Windows、および特定のパブリック インスタント メッセージング クライアントとの互換性についても説明します。
互換性の計画
Office Communicator 2007 をインストールしているユーザーは、移行中も Office Communications Server 2007 R2 サーバーにサインインして、Office Communicator 2007 R2 クライアントと対話できます。ただし、Office Communications Server 2007 R2 の新機能は使用できません。

Office Communications Server 2007 R2 クライアント間の互換性
すべての Office Communications Server 2007 R2 クライアントは、他の Office Communications Server 2007 R2 クライアントと相互運用できます。
また、ほとんどの Office Communications Server 2007 R2 クライアントは、複数のプレゼンス ポイントの使用をサポートしていますが、次の例外があります。
- Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Attendant のユーザーは、Office Communicator 2007 R2 Phone Edition、2007 R2 リリースの Communicator Mobile for Windows Mobile、および 2007 R2 リリースの Microsoft Office Communicator Web Access を使用して、2 人以上で同時にログオンすることはできません。
- 2007 R2 リリースの Communicator Mobile for Windows Mobile のユーザーは、同時に 2 台のモバイル デバイスにサインインできません。
