cdoPostUserName

OLE DB Type

Remarks

This field is only relevant if the https://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/postusing field is set to cdoPostUsingPort (2) or cdoPostUsingExchange (3). For more information, see the CdoPostUsing Enum. If Microsoft Outlook® Express is installed, the value from the default account is used.

When posting a message by using Exchange, this value is the user's UPN. If the https://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/mailboxurl property is not set, Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) uses this UPN to look up the Exchange server that is hosting the user's mailbox. When the Active Directory® directory service is used for authentication, the UPN and postpassword value are used for credentials.
