TransportServer.ReceiveProtocolLogMaxFileSize Property

Gets or sets the maximum file size for individual Receive connector protocol log files.

Property Value

Type: Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Unlimited<ByteQuantifiedSize>
The maximum file size for Receive connector protocol log files. The default value is 10 MB.

Remarks

When a Receive connector protocol log file reaches the size specified by the ReceiveProtocolLogMaxFileSize property, a new log file is created.

The default value for the ReceiveProtocolLogMaxFileSize property is 10 MB. When you enter a value, you can qualify it with one of the following units:

  • B (bytes)

  • KB (kilobytes)

  • MB (megabytes)

  • GB (gigabytes)

  • TB (terabytes)

Unqualified values are treated as bytes.

The valid values of the ReceiveProtocolLogMaxFileSize property are 1 byte to 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 bytes (8 exabytes). If you set the value of the ReceiveProtocolLogMaxFileSize property to unlimited, no size limit is placed on the Receive protocol log file size.

The value of the ReceiveProtocolLogMaxDirectorySize property must be greater than or equal to the value of the ReceiveProtocolLogMaxFileSize property.
