DeserializationArguments Enumeration

 

Flags that specify actions that can be taken when deserializing XML.

This enumeration has a FlagsAttribute attribute that allows a bitwise combination of its member values.

Members

Member name Description
AddXmlHeader

Add an XML header.

AllowNullInput

When set, a null input returns a null object. If this is not set, this is a failure.

DoNotThrowOnException

A serialization exception returns a null reply. The default behavior is to throw an exception to the caller when a serialization error occurs.

None

Do nothing.

StripTrailingNulls

Trailing nulls are removed, if present.

StripUnicodeBom

The Unicode byte order mark (BOM) is stripped from the input XML.

UnicodeBomExpected

When set, a Unicode byte order mark (BOM) is expected. This option implies StripUnicodeBom.
