解説

Visual Studio では、エンタープライズテンプレートプロジェクトなどの一部のプロジェクトに、他のプロジェクトを項目 (具体的にはサブプロジェクト) として含めることができます。これらの各プロジェクトは、エンタープライズアプリケーション用のテンプレートです。各プロジェクトには、Visual Basic サブプロジェクトと Visual C++ サブプロジェクトが含まれます。このようなプロジェクトインターフェイス、またはラッププロジェクトがある場合、ParentProjectItem は、ラッププロジェクトであるテンプレートプロジェクトの項目に対して、ProjectItem オブジェクトを返します。
