NodeType Attribute

Merges one table of contents (TOC) node with another TOC. When NodeType is set, the URL of a node points to a valid TOC (.HxT) file. If the .HxT file is present in the project, Help performs a run-time merge of the TOCs. If the target is not present in the project or at run time, the node is not displayed.

  • TOC
    Performs a run-time merge with a different .HxT file, displaying the top node of that TOC in the same position as this node.

  • Regular
    (Default) A run-time merge is not performed.

Remarks

A node with NodeType set to TOC should not have child nodes.
