This example is for a document-level customization.
Private Sub BookmarkFootnoteOptions()
Me.Paragraphs(1).Range.InsertParagraphBefore()
Dim Bookmark1 As Microsoft.Office.Tools.Word.Bookmark = _
Me.Controls.AddBookmark(Me.Paragraphs(1).Range, "Bookmark1")
Bookmark1.Text = "This is sample bookmark text."
Bookmark1.FootnoteOptions.NumberStyle = Word.WdNoteNumberStyle.wdNoteNumberStyleArabic
Bookmark1.FootnoteOptions.StartingNumber = 1
Bookmark1.Footnotes.Location = Word.WdFootnoteLocation.wdBeneathText
Bookmark1.Footnotes.Add(Range:=Bookmark1.Range, Text:="This is my footnote text.")
End Sub
private void BookmarkFootnoteOptions()
{
object Text = "This is my footnote text.";
this.Paragraphs[1].Range.InsertParagraphBefore();
Microsoft.Office.Tools.Word.Bookmark bookmark1 =
this.Controls.AddBookmark(this.Paragraphs[1].Range,
"bookmark1");
bookmark1.Text = "This is sample bookmark text.";
bookmark1.FootnoteOptions.NumberStyle =
Word.WdNoteNumberStyle.wdNoteNumberStyleArabic;
bookmark1.FootnoteOptions.StartingNumber = 1;
bookmark1.Footnotes.Location =
Word.WdFootnoteLocation.wdBeneathText;
bookmark1.Footnotes.Add(bookmark1.Range,
ref missing, ref Text);
}
