Gets the index of the first occurrence of a key in a list.

Syntax

var number = list.indexOfKey(key);

Parameters

  • key
    Type: String

    The key to locate in the list.

Return value

Type: Number

The index of the first occurrence of a key in a list, or -1 if not found.
