OID_DOT11_WFD_SEND_INVITATION_RESPONSE
Important The Native 802.11 Wireless LAN interface is deprecated in Windows 10 and later. Please use the WLAN Device Driver Interface (WDI) instead. For more information about WDI, see WLAN Universal Windows driver model.
When set, the OID_DOT11_WFD_SEND_INVITATION_RESPONSE object identifier (OID) is sent to the miniport driver with the parameters to respond to an invitation request. The OID_DOT11_WFD_SEND_INVITATION_RESPONSE request is sent after the miniport inidicates an NDIS_STATUS_DOT11_WFD_RECEIVED_INVITATION_REQUEST indication.
The data type for OID_DOT11_WFD_SEND_INVITATION_RESPONSE is the DOT11_SEND_INVITATION_RESPONSE_PARAMETERS structure.
This is a direct OID called in the context of an NDIS_STATUS_DOT11_WFD_RECEIVED_INVITATION_REQUEST indication.
After receiving this OID, the miniport must create and populate all the required Peer-to-Peer (P2P) attributes in the P2P Information Element (IE) before it sends the invitation response packet.
Note Miniports must handle this OID synchronously. They must not process requests as pending.
The completion of the attempt to send the invitation response attempt must be indicated to the system with an NDIS_STATUS_DOT11_WFD_INVITATION_RESPONSE_SEND_COMPLETE indication. The miniport driver must send the NDIS_STATUS_DOT11_WFD_INVITATION_RESPONSE_SEND_COMPLETE indication after it has stopped the attempt to send the invitation response. This must occur in either case of success or failure. Requirements
