Domain
Domain
specifies the domain name of the account used for authentication. If the account is not a domain account, then the computer name should be used instead of the domain name. For example, if a computer named SYSTEM1 is connected to the FABRIKAM domain, then you can specify credentials in one of the following ways:
- FABRIKAM\User_Name and the User_Name account password. In this case, the value for the
Domain
setting is FABRIKAM. - SYSTEM1\User_Name and the User_Name password on the SYSTEM1 machine. You can use any account on the system. In this case, the value for the
Domain
setting is SYSTEM1.
