AutomationProperties.GetHelpText Method

Gets the value of the AutomationProperties.HelpText attached property for the specified DependencyObject.

The help text for the specified element.

Exceptions

element is invalid value.
ArgumentNullException

element is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

The returned string typically provides the same text that is provided by a tooltip for the control.
