열거형의 멤버는 전역 수준 알림의 GLOBAL_NOTIFICATION_STATUS 반환 값으로 사용되며 멤버는 전역 수준 알림 처리 파이프라인 내에서 프로세스 흐름을 제어하는 데 도움이 됩니다. 예를 들어 전역 수준 알림 처리기에서 반환 GL_NOTIFICATION_CONTINUE 하면 IIS가 추가 전역 수준 알림을 계속 처리하도록 지시하는 반면, 전역 수준 알림 처리기에서 반환 GL_NOTIFICATION_HANDLED 하면 전역 수준 처리가 완료되었으며 IIS가 추가 전역 수준 알림을 처리해서는 안 된다는 것을 IIS에 알릴 수 있습니다.

예제

다음 코드 예제에서는 간단한 "헬로 월드" 전역 수준 HTTP 모듈을 만드는 방법을 보여 줍니다. 이 모듈은 CGlobalModule에서 파생된 클래스의 instance 만드는 내보낸 RegisterModule 함수를 정의합니다. 클래스를 만들 수 없는 경우 함수는 오류 코드와 함께 종료됩니다. 그렇지 않으면 함수는 IHttpModuleRegistrationInfo::SetRequestNotifications 메서드를 호출하여 GL_PRE_BEGIN_REQUEST 알림에 등록합니다.

알림이 GL_PRE_BEGIN_REQUEST 발생하면 IIS는 모듈의 CGlobalModule::OnGlobalPreBeginRequest 메서드를 호출하여 알림을 처리합니다. 메서드는 프라이빗 메서드를 호출하여 이벤트를 이벤트 뷰어 애플리케이션 로그에 쓴 다음, IIS에 다른 알림을 계속 처리하도록 알리기 위해 반환 GL_NOTIFICATION_CONTINUE 됩니다. 처리가 완료되면 IIS는 모듈의 CGlobalModule::Terminate 메서드를 호출하여 메모리에서 클래스를 제거합니다.
