PropertyNullValidationException Constructor (String, String, Exception)

Initializes a new instance of the PropertyNullValidationException class with a specified error message, the property name that caused this exception. and inner exception that is the cause of this exception.

Parameters

  The error message that explains the reason for the exception.

• propertyName
  Type: System..::.String
  Name of the property that did not validate correctly.

• inner
  Type: System..::.Exception
  The exception that is the cause of the current exception, or a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if no inner exception is specified.

Remarks

If the inner parameter is not a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference, the current exception is raised in a catch block that handles the inner exception.

PropertyNullValidationException is thrown when an attempt is made to save an entity and at least one property of that entity is nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) when not allowed.
