Telebank Proposal Window

You use the Telebank Proposal window to gather vendor/customer entries for payment/collection. In the telebank proposal, you enter the relevant information for the payment/collection, such as the vendor/customer bank account, the transaction date and the amount. The information you enter in the proposal is temporary and can be changed as long as it is in the proposal.

Typically you will generate proposal lines for payments or collections based on vendor/customer ledger entries using the Get Proposal Entries batch job. Each proposal line shows information on vendor and customer level. To see invoice level information click Line, Detail Information.

It is possible to transfer proposals to an other bank account in order to perform the payments through that bank. Click Proposal, To Other Bank ... and select the bank account in the Bank Account List window.

When processing the proposal lines the system checks each individual line. If it encounters errors it writes either a warning or an error message to the proposal line concerned and continues processing. However proposal lines containing errors will not be processed into payment history entries. In order to get these lines processed the errors should be solved.

After you processed a proposal, the proposal will be empty and the payments/collections will be posted to the payment history. You can view the results of posting proposal in the Payment History Card window.
