Changing Graphic Properties (Windows CE 5.0)
You can change the properties of a graphic.
To change the properties of a graphic
- Open the graphic you want to change.
- Choose Properties from the View menu.
- Change any or all of these properties on the General tab:
- Modify the resource identifier in the ID box. By default, the next available identifier is assigned in a series: IDB_IMAGE1, IDB_IMAGE2, and so on. Similar names are used for icons and cursors.
- Modify the graphic width and height, in pixels, in the Width and Height boxes. The default value for both width and height is 48. If you change the graphic dimensions using the property page, the graphic is cropped or blank space is added to the right of, or below the existing graphic.
- Select Monochrome, 4, 16, or 256 in the Colors list. If you have drawn the graphic with a 16-color palette, selecting Monochrome causes substitutions of black and white for the colors in the graphic. Contrast is not always maintained; for example, adjacent areas of red and green are both converted to black.
- In the File Name box, modify the file name in which the graphic is stored. By default, a base file name is created by removing the first four characters from the default identifier and adding the appropriate extension.
- Select the Save Compressed check box to save the graphic in compressed format.
- Change any or all of the color properties on the Palette tab:
- Double-click to select a color and display the Custom Color Selector dialog box.
- Define the color by typing RGB or HSL values in the appropriate text boxes.
