Multiple Dictionary Support for Japanese (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

Pocket IME 2.0 can manage up to eight dictionaries. The following table lists the dictionary types that are supported in Pocket IME.

Dictionary type	Description
User dictionary	Registers and stores user-defined words.
Standard system dictionary	Contains words and grammatical data. This dictionary must be included in an OS design with Pocket IME 2.0 support. Pocket IME 2.0 can only handle one standard system dictionary.
Add-on system dictionary	Contains words only. The add-on system dictionary is optional. You can create up to six add-on dictionaries and add them to an OS design.

Windows Embedded CE provides one standard system dictionary, imejpps.dic, and two add-on user dictionaries, imejppm.dic, and imejppn.dic.
