Versioning of Components in Configurations
When a component is added to a configuration, the new component instance is frozen at that version. If a new version of the component is added to the database, the configuration does not automatically use the new version. The instance must be upgraded.
Target Designer allows upgrading an individual instance or an entire configuration to the newest versions of the underlying components.
