Nairobi .NET User Group Goes Live!!

Nairobi, Kenya: The Sunny Saturday morning of March 20th 2004 saw the Nairobi .NET User group go live with an initial attendance of 20 developers. We met at the local Microsoft Office and had some initial discussions on the future and direction of the group. Later I did a “What is .NET” presentation as well as a demo that got us into perpsective and brought some very interesting questions from the audience. Microsoft had some pizza and beef skewers ready to crown the event which ended with each of the attendees getting a copy of the Microsoft Football 247 DVD which is a great resource for .NET beginners. Our website will be going live in a month, go wananchi go !!!
