Assinando eventos

Para assinar eventos, chame a função EvtSubscribe . Você pode assinar eventos de uma ou mais Administração ou canais operacionais. O canal pode existir no computador local ou em um computador remoto. Para especificar os eventos aos quais você deseja assinar, você pode usar uma consulta XPath ou uma consulta XML de estrutura. O Log de Eventos do Windows fornece dois modelos para assinatura de evento:

  • O modelo de push envia eventos de forma assíncrona para um retorno de chamada que você implementa.
  • O modelo de pull usa um identificador de evento que você cria para sinalizar quando há eventos disponíveis que correspondem aos critérios de consulta. Em seguida, enumera os eventos no conjunto de resultados.

Você pode assinar eventos passados e futuros, somente eventos futuros ou eventos passados e futuros começando após o evento marcado.

Assinaturas pull

O modelo de assinatura pull usa um objeto de evento (consulte a função CreateEventEx ) para sinalizar ao aplicativo que há eventos no conjunto de resultados que correspondem aos critérios de consulta. Crie um constructo de loop que aguarda no objeto de evento até que o evento seja sinalizado. Em seguida, chame a função EvtNext em um loop para enumerar os eventos no conjunto de resultados. Quando a função EvtNext falhar e definir o último erro como ERROR_NO_MORE_ITEMS, redefina o objeto de evento e aguarde o serviço sinalizar o objeto novamente quando houver eventos no conjunto de resultados.
