How to Disable Authorization in Commerce Server 2007

You should disable authorization only in a Commerce Server 2007 preview or test environment. You compromise the security of your deployment if you disable authorization in a production environment.

To disable authorization

  • Set disableAuthorization="true" in the custom configuration section in the Web.config file for each Web service.
