Rules Tab, Visual FoxPro Transformer
Specify one or more rules to apply or to deny to the files listed in the Files tab of the Transformer.
Tab Options
- Property
Specifies a property for which you want to specify a rule. If you specify no value, the current rule will apply globally and can affect the application of other rules in the current Transformer session. - Value
Specifies the value you want the property to be. - Condition
Specifies the current condition that triggers the change. If you don't specify a condition, only modified properties in the target file(s) (displayed as bold in the property window) are changed to the value you specify in Value. Use the Dialog button to build a complex rule in the Expression Builder. - Files
Specifies one or more files you wish to modify. You can use wildcard characters as templates for files. You can also specify files to exclude by using the Exclude check box. - Classes
Specifies one or more files you wish to modify. You can use wildcard characters as templates for class libraries. You can also specify class libraries to exclude by using the Exclude check box. - Add
Adds a rule to the Selected Rules list. - Clear
Clears the rules from the Selected Rules list. - Font Rule
Displays the rule Transformer generates from your edit box input. For font properties, the Transformer creates a best-fit solution using the FontInfo field of specified files and font metrics calculations. - Edit
Enables editing of the selected rule. - Remove
Removes the highlighted rule from the Selected Rule list. - Open
Opens an existing Transformer rules table (.DBF) so you can select from saved rules. - Save
Saves current Selected Rules to a Transformer rules table (.DBF). - Files — Exclude
Specifies one or more files or file templates you want to exclude from the conversion process. - Classes — Exclude
Specifies one or more class libraries or class library file templates you want to exclude from the conversion process. - Override Defaults
Specifies that the Transformer should replace the conditional value even if it is a default in the specified target. Normally, the Transformer modifies or remaps only properties that have been set (display as bold in the property window), but does not modify default values.
