Installing Office 2013 and SharePoint 2013 Developer Tools Preview for Visual Studio 2012 RTM

Today, we made available Visual Studio 2012 RTM for MSDN subscribers

However Visual Studio 2012 RTM does not include the Office 2013 and SharePoint 2013 Developer Tools Preview with it. So, to install the preview tools, you need to grab the Microsoft Web Platform Installer

Download the web platform installer, search for SharePoint and you have it there:

So, “What amazing SharePoint app will you build today” Smile

The specified steps did not work for me. When I searched for "SharePoint" in the Web Platform Installer 4.0, what it displayed was "Microsoft Office Developer Tools for Visual Studio 2012 RC - Preview". When I tried installing it, the error message isErrorYou must install Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Professional Edition (or above) Release Candidate before you can install the Microsoft Office Developer Tools for Visual Studio 2012 – Preview.Any possibility to help me here?

@Reghu - Can you make sure you downloaded the latest Web Platform Installer from here - www.microsoft.com/.../platform.aspx ? The latest has "Microsoft Office Developer Tools for Visual Studio 2012 RTM - Preview" included.

Any news on when the RTM version will be available? I'm currently running SP2013 RTM and the Preview tools forbid me from creating OData ECT (as an example i've found)!Thank you in advance,C:>Marius
