Moves the insertion point down one page.

Syntax

object**.PageDown** [extend][, count]

Parameters

object

An expression that evaluates to a TextSelection object.

extend

(Optional) A string constant of type DsMovementOptions that specifies what to do with the selection. Possible values are:

  • dsExtend   Extends the selection.This is the same as pressing SHIFT+PAGE DOWN.

  • dsMove   Does not extend the selection (the default).

count

(Optional) A Long that specifies the number of times you want to repeat this action. The default is one.

Remarks

The PageDown method has the same effect as pressing the PAGE DOWN key.

Example

The following example moves the insertion point down one page and extends the selection:

ActiveDocument.Selection.PageDown dsExtend
