Windows 95 Functionality
Microsoft Visual C++ and the Microsoft Foundation Class Library are designed to help you write applications for Windows 95. Several of the requirements for the Windows 95 logo are satisfied automatically by any MFC application built using Visual C++. Fulfilling the remaining requirements, such as OLE support, requires knowledge of the specific nature of your application, making it impossible for MFC to generate a completely Windows 95-logo–compliant application automatically. However, MFC provides classes containing all the generic code needed, so that all you have to do is add the code specific to your application. This article describes the process of meeting the logo requirements for a sample MFC application.
