Port an External Project Made Without NMAKE to the Development Environment

To open an external project in the development environment

  1. Follow the same steps you would to open a project made with NMAKE in the development environment.

  2. Once the project is open, click Settings from the Build menu.

  3. On the Project Settings dialog box, click the General tab.

  4. In the Build command line text box, replace the default NMAKE commands by typing in the command for your build tool.
