IISAdmin Sample

Note

Indexing Service is no longer supported as of Windows XP and is unavailable for use as of Windows 8. Instead, use Windows Search for client side search and Microsoft Search Server Express for server side search.

The IISAdmin sample is a set of HTML and ASP forms that demonstrates how to use IIS to administer Indexing Service. The forms retrieve indexing statistics, force a master merge, rescan paths, and check for documents that could not be filtered.
