Platform Base Component

The Windows XP Embedded Client (x86) - US English platform has a base component that is included in every configuration. Platform script is responsible for adding the base component to a configuration. The base component is responsible for defining the minimum functionality required for the platform. This functionality is typically specified as a set of dependencies, and ensures that the configuration includes certain components before it can be built. The platform base component cannot be modified.
