Obtaining a Certificate
Using the Enterprise Web Pad image on a CEPC or Emulator that you created and downloaded, you can obtain a certificate from a Windows 2000 Certificate Server.
To obtain a certificate
From the Start menu of the CEPC device, choose Run.

From the Start menu of the Emulator on your development workstation, choose Run.
In the Run dialog box, type enroll -s<Server Name>, where <Server Name> is the name of a certificate server on the Windows XP network, then choose OK.
Note Do not use a space between -s and <Server Name>.
If the Windows CE client does not have the user credentials stored on it, a Windows logon dialog box appears.
The -s option with Enroll.exe causes the application to ignore the Enroll.cfg configuration file.
Type your Windows networking user name, domain, and password, and then choose OK.
If you get a dialog box asking about a root store, choose YES.
A Certificates dialog box with a message that indicates successful enrollment will appear.
To close the dialog box, choose OK.
