This method replaces a substring in the composition buffer with a specified string.

STDMETHOD ReplaceCompString(INTiPos,INTiTargetLen,WCHAR*pwSzInsert,INTcchSzInsert,DWORD*lpdwCharId);

Parameters

  • iPos
    [in] Starting character position of the substring to be replaced.
  • iTargetLen
    [in] Length of the substring to be replaced.
  • pwSzInsert
    [in] Pointer to the string that contains the replacement.
  • cchSzInsert
    [in] Length of the replacement string.
  • lpdwCharId
    [in, out] Ignored. Set the value to NULL.

Return Values

Success indicates the substring was replaced.

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
