Catalog Features

The Microsoft® Platform Builder version 4.2 Catalog consists of a list of board support packages (BSPs), drivers, configurations for core operating systems (OSs), and Platform Manager transports. The items in the Catalog represent the technologies you can select when designing your Microsoft Windows® CE .NET–based platform. These technologies are organized and displayed as features. Features are specific implementations of the technologies available in the Windows CE .NET 4.2 OS. For more information about the Catalog, see Catalog Window.

You can view the features included in your platform on the FeatureView tab in Platform Builder. You can insert features from the Catalog into your platform by dragging the features into the FeatureView tab of the Workspace window or adding them through the menu commands.
