%_TGTPLAT% Files Directory
The Files directory contains the device-specific files that are used to build the OS image, initial directory structure, initialized databases, and initialized registry for the project. This directory should be used for other device-specific files that are not code or documentation. The following table shows the files included in the Files Directory.

| Platform.dat | A file system file |
The Files directory also includes the Intltrns directory, which contains files that include localized device-specific strings for supported languages.
