Finally.... my new laptop should arrive tomorrow! :) 

Hopefully it will be rebuilt and ready for a flogging by tomorrow afternoon...

    Let me know how you would compare the HP with a Dell. Also: I gotta ask... are you now lugging this laptop and the tablet around at the same time? ;)

    I haven't been lugging both around ... much.  I'm still waiting for an update to the bios on my tablet so I can upgrade it to Vista.My HP certainly is a lot better than my old Dell .... but my Dell was quite old.  Good speakers, nice wide screen, lighter than it looks, very nice video card, fast disk.  Yep, I'm happy.... for now :)
