I WANT YOUR FEEDBACK ON AZURE!

It’s no secret that Microsoft has had a huge push for Azure. Even within the CAT team the effect is noticeable. Usually within 24 hours this blog is at least acknowledged if not read by several hundred people, and there is no doubt you are representative of a larger community.

What I want form you is to provide comments to me using the blog comments below to tell me in very general, nonspecific terms what your role is and what you are doing with azure, what you are thinking about doing with azure, or what you did with azure and gave up on. No company names, no personal info, no proprietary info about your products or software. Future blog posts will likely reflect what I am doing and hopefully bridge what you are doing!

SQL related or not does not matter, tell me anything. If you have been playing with the VMs in the cloud I definitely want to hear from you!

I did use it as a trial but it just seems too complicated trying to determine how much data you're going to use etc. Its like a cellphone plan that I have to worry about overages. I just want something simple and unlimited so I don't have to think about it.

I have to agree with the previous comment. The billing is too complicated. It is very difficult currently explaining to non-technical management how the billing works. From a technical point I have no problems with the system.A complete backup (database and site) will also be nice.
