DefaultPath Property

The DefaultPath property returns the operating system path naming a directory used as a root for Microsoft Search full-text catalog implementation if no user-specified path is supplied during full-text catalog creation.

SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference using SysFreeString.
