Visual Studio 允許某些專案，例如 Enterprise Templates 專案，包含其他專案做為項目，尤其是做為子專案。 每一個這些專案都是企業應用程式的範本，而且包括 Visual Basic 和 Visual C++ 子專案。 如果您有這種專案介面或包裝專案，那麼 ParentProjectItem 會針對範本專案中為包裝專案的項目傳回 ProjectItem 物件。
