Visual Studio 2010 不支援針對 Windows Phone OS 7.0 之前的 Windows Phone 版本進行行動應用程式開發。

由於 Visual Studio 2010 不支援針對 Windows Phone OS 7.0 之前的 Windows Phone 版本進行行動應用程式開發，因此您無法使用下列功能：.NET Compact Framework 專案、Visual C++ 裝置專案、智慧型裝置 CAB 專案、「裝置模擬器」與「裝置模擬器管理員」、裝置專案的測試工具，以及「裝置安全性管理員」。
