I have no problem signing into office365 web but outlook and OneNote ask for password endlessly

This started today suddenly. no new software was installed.

I have Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise -en-us on Windows 10

MS 365 Version 16.0.15629.20208
Windows 10 Version 10.0.19043.1889

I performed following but no luck.

-Reset the outlook profile, (Deleted profile from registry also.)
-Wiped C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\ folder
-Reinstalled office 365,
-Deleted office 365 credentials from Credential manager
-Followed instruction from below URL.

I downloaded and launch the diagnostic tool "Diag: Outlook keeps asking for my password"
I got "system settings look fine" Result

I have tested every MS solution.. tools etc. This fixed my issue

    1. Open the Regedit application as the client. (This should not be done as admin as it will apply the changes to your profile instead of the client's settings.)
    2. Go to “Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity.”
    3. Verify if there is a DWORD value named “EnableADAL” that is set to 0. (If “EnableADAL” is not found in the registry, skip to step 6.)
    4. Update the DWORD value for “EnableADAL” to 1.
    5. Select OK.
    6. Verify if there is a DWORD value named “DisableADALatopWAMOverride” that is set to 1. (If the DWORD value for “DisableADALatopWAMOverride” is set to 0, skip to step 9.)
    7. Update the DWORD value for “DisableADALatopWAMOverride” to 0.
    8. Select OK.
    9. Close Regedit. 10. Open Outlook and sign-in.

    Hi,

    Same problem here since today.
How to force Outlook to ask credentials from modern authentication ? Even after deleting Outlook profile it continues to ask password with legacy authentication.
If I try to a new Windows profile I can configure the mailbox with Modern Authentication.

I don't want to delete user windows profil.

Modern authentication is enabled on 365 admin console.

    Regards,
