Hi Microsoft,

I can no longer tolerate with the Cumulative Updates because it takes so long to download the security updates.

And I do not know what is the problems.

I don't think it is my ISP is causing the problems.

It could be the downloading time taken at Microsoft Server end in My Country or in the US to update the Windows Operating System.

This is ridiculous as it takes hell lot of time to download and install the security patches.

I think the Windows Operating System is some what Bloated. What is the bottle neck to download the security patches???

It takes me the entire day and night to get this done at my end. I have so many Windows to Update at my end.

I never had any updates issues with Linux. That takes minutes to complete.

Microsoft, come on. Can you please do something. This is way too much for us to handle the situation our end.

Can the Microsoft CEO Look in to the matter?

I never understood how a company(with the resources of the world at its disposal) can't do updates in a timely manner... Hell! The open source community(Linux) can handle updates 'quickly' and they run on a shoestring.

I have one operating system which I paid for and always have problems with it..
I have another operating system which is free and is free of problems..

Can you guess which is which?

Note: Windows 10 is installing my cumulative update again because I guess the last time it installed my cumulative update to 100% it was only a dry run... It should be embarrassing at this point but Windows engineers seem oblivious to the problems in their product.

The windows update screen should have a big red button that turns everything off except updates.... Maybe then windows can do updates in a reasonable amount of time.

First of all, I appreciated a lot the work that MS engineers are doing to patching the systems, but how we can explain to the BOARD / OWNER, the network has to be done for several hours every month just to install a patch.

Install Windows 2016/2019/2022 could take max 30 minutes.

Beside the time that could take download and install un update, because the server is still operational, CLICK restart button take minimum 45 to 60 minutes before the updates start to apply.

Why you don't use the same system as Windows 11 upgrade. From windows 10 to windows 11 take less of 45 minutes, so just download a never windows version and upgrade in place.

update 1 released on xx may 20xx

update 2 realsed on xx june 20xx

    but in cumulatibe updates

Update 1 relased on xx ma 20xx

update 2 released on xx june 20xx where update 2 also contains update 1 so more stuff to download and theer you go it just gets slower evry update
