Hello,
we are on the classic VM and want to Migrate it to Azure Resource Manager, As we know that the classic VM will be retired and turned off on the first of September, we actually have basic knowledge of clouding, and tried to migrate it from the Migrate to ARM page from the Portal Console and when tried to follow the steps for Migration we got an error in validating and don't know what to do to do the migration peacefully and keep our application working. Any advice?

As the error message suggests, please try to resolve the following by taking the recommended steps below:

    1. Azure Resource Manager Compute quota for your subscription aa5fc5b8-e1c2-4145-xxxxxxxx and location westeurope is not available. Migration operations Prepare / Commit may fail due to Compute quota issues. Please validate you have enough Compute quota or else raise a request to get it increased by following guidance at http://aka.ms/corequotaincrease
    2. Virtual machineFailedVM cscegypt in HostedService continental-school is currently configured with the Azure Backup service and therefore currently not supported for Migration. To migrate this VM, please follow the procedure described at https://aka.ms/vmbackupmigration.
    3. VM cscegypt in HostedService continental-school contains Extension BGInfo version 1.* which is an XML extension. XML extensions are not supported in Azure Resource Manager. It is recommended to uninstall it from the VM. Alternatively, it will be automatically uninstalled during migration.
    4. VM cscegypt in HostedService continental-school contains Extension MicrosoftMonitoringAgent reporting Handler Status : NotReady. Hence, the VM cannot be migrated. Please ensure that the Extension handler status being reported is Ready or uninstall it from the VM and retry migration.

All of these errors are also explained in the Errors that commonly occur during Classic to Azure Resource Manager migration document. Please go through this document and take the necessary mitigation steps shared there.

If you are still seeing difficulties migrating after performing the above steps, let me know in the comments and I can further investigate, or we may need to go the support request route as needed and I can help with it as well. Thanks.
