Entra ID P2 Free Trial is not working with Azure Free Subscription

I have Register for Azure 30 days Free Subscription, my subscription is working fine. I am self-learning AZ-104 and having trouble following AZ-104: Manage identities and governance in Azure >>> Configure user and group accounts>>> Unit 7>>Intractive Lab Simulation >> Task 2

Issue Is: While trying to get Entra ID P2 free trial from Azure portal, its redirecting to signup page which is not accepting my current email address which is associated with Azure Free Subscription.

Expected behavior: Entra ID P2 Free Trail License should be added to Azure Subscription as per the Intractive Lab.User's image

    Hi Suraj Chandrakar I want to help you with this question.

    If you use Interactive Lab simulations, it's not possible to add license plans. You have to use the pre-configuration.

    Thanks to all of you for your Input. I am summarizing here to make sure @Microsoft should update their Lab document with appropriate offering to use during Lab Workshop.

    • If you have registered for Azure Free Subscription from your personal email address, then you will receive default Microsoft Entra ID (not P1 / P2 trail ) license with subscription.
    • You wont able to upgrade to Microsoft Entra ID P2 trail, which is prerequisite for Task 2 (AZ-104: Manage identities and governance in Azure >>> Configure user and group accounts>>> Unit 7>>Intractive Lab Simulation) to create dynamic security group.
    • Only way to get your Microsoft Entra ID P2 trail associated with your Azure free tier tenant is to register with work or school email address.

    "I'm experiencing the same issue, and it poses a challenge for self-learning students. It has become increasingly difficult in several courses to finish certain lab demos due to the inability to upgrade to Entra ID P2 free trial. This issue is affecting my candidates as well. In the past, it was a straightforward process to activate this for a 30-day period."

    Hi guys,

    I also have same issue, i cannot activate my free licenses, it also leads me to this pane where i need to sign-up to new domain in order to have licenses. Since i cannot manage that domain i cannot have those licenses - for my test i want to create intune and microsoft defender for testing purposes but i cannot assign licenses to users since this domain change occur..
