Discount lists are an optional feature but can be utilized to implement discounts based on the quantity of products purchased. For instance, let's consider a standard price list that features a printer priced at $150.00. In this context, a discount list could be established to offer varying discounts depending on the volume of units acquired. For example, customers purchasing quantities between 101 and 500 may receive a 5-percent discount, those procuring between 501 and 5,000 units may enjoy a 10-percent discount, and those acquiring more than 5,000 units could benefit from a 15-percent discount.

To establish discounts within the product catalog, navigate to the application settings and locate the option for Discount Lists. Within this section, proceed to add discounts to your items by specifying the discount percentage.

Note: For each discount, it is imperative to define both a starting and ending quantity, alongside the discount rate to be applied.

After configuring the discounts, navigate to the price list and select the respective item. Here, proceed to incorporate the predefined discounts onto the selected item within the price list interface.

Note: In General settings check Discount calculation method, each item should be Enable.

Please follow these steps to access the Price List:

Utilize the navigation pane located on the left-hand side of the screen to select the Sales area.

Within the Sales area, navigate to the bottom of the screen and select "App Settings" from the ensuing menu.

Under the Product Catalog grouping within the App Settings, locate and click on "Discount Lists."

Upon accessing the Discount Lists section, proceed to the command bar and select the option labelled "New" to initiate the creation of a new discount list.

In the Create Discount List dialog box, you are required to input specific details as follows:

Begin Quantity: Set this value to 10, indicating the minimum quantity of items required to qualify for the discount.

End Quantity: Specify this as 15, representing the maximum quantity of items eligible for the discount.

Percentage: Set the discount percentage to 5, indicating the amount by which the listed items will be discounted within the specified quantity range. Ensure this percentage applies to quantities between 10 and 15.

Save the entered information.

Additionally, for larger quantities, further discounts can be implemented by following a similar process:

Set the Begin Quantity to 16, indicating the minimum quantity required to qualify for the subsequent discount.

Specify the End Quantity as 20, representing the maximum quantity eligible for the extended discount.

Adjust the Percentage to 10, signifying the increased discount rate applicable to quantities between 16 and 20.

Save the newly configured discount parameters.

To initiate discounts for the specified item, it is necessary to create a price list. Follow these steps to accomplish this:

Access the Product Catalog page within the application interface.

Navigate to the Price Lists section and select it.

Once in the Price Lists interface, locate the command bar and click on the option labelled "New" to create a new price list.

In the Active Price Lists view, again, click on "New" within the command bar to proceed with creating a new price list.

Name the newly created price list as "Wholesale."

Leave the Start Date and End Date fields blank, ensuring the price list remains active indefinitely.

Save the newly configured price list to finalize the creation process.
